The Twisted Teapot // Floridians Guide

I took my dad for his birthday to The Twisted Teapot in Winter Haven, Florida. It is honestly so pretty inside and outside and you have this really lovely vintage tea room feel. Here's a little photo of what it looked like in one of the room. If you head of to my Facebook page you can see more photos of the inside of the tea room. For lunch I had a puff pastry filled with creamy chicken and broccoli and a cup of potato & leak soup. My pot of tea was a chocolate chai (which i bought in the store after lunch). Sadly my meal was a daily special so it's not there everyday but it was honestly so amazon and delicious and so was the soup. I'm not a huge fan of potato & leak soap but this was the best one I have ever tried. The last part of are meal was this two tier tea deal. We have some tea sandwiches on the bottom and the top had an assortment of fresh desserts and on the side we had strawberry scones with cream. As well as another pot of te...

GeekyCon 2016 Highlights

Meeting Maxwell Glick and Jon Cozart after the Disney sing-a-long after being on stage with them during a Tangled song and being in the front row dancing with them, two very sweet gentleman and I'm so happy I got to meet them and getting some youtube advise from Mr. Cheezypop himself! At the Charity ball I got to meet Ty Simpkins who is from Jurassic World and the Insidious films. He was also very sweet and nice of him to come out of the V.I.P area to interact with his fans and take photos for free and have nice conversations with everyone. That same night after the dance was the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child midnight release party! Potter Puppet Pals did a show, there was real life wizard chess, quid ditch matches, costume contests, being sorted by the sorting hat, and much more to do. It was so much fun and of course getting the book was icing on the cake. Then I got to meet Pemberly Digital! Frankenstein M.D., The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, and my p...

Star Wars Outfit and Food at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Hollywood Studios has Star Wars themed fireworks during the summer starting at 9:30 pm. They are the most incredible firework show I have ever seen. I highly recommend seeing them even if you don't like Star Wars, but clearly I do! This is a photo op area across from the entrance to Star Tours. I am wearing my BB-8 Mickey Mouse Ears, which are difficult to find for how popular Force Awakens and the droid are. I had to search through many disney store to find them. I did however find them in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. They also have R2-D2 and C3PO Mickey Mouse ears if you want to go for the more classic droids. Then I am wearing my "Physically I am here, Mentally I'm in a Galaxy far, far away..." shirt I got at Forever 21. Not sure if they still sell these those. My boyfriend and I wanted to get some drinks and snacks for the fireworks since we were waiting in a good spot for about 45 minutes for them. I went to the Joffery's coffee stand...

Geekycon 2016 cosplays

This past week I went to Geekycon 2016 which is one of my favorite conventions to go to and enjoy being a fangirl with other fangirls. Here were my cosplays all three days: REYpunzel is what I called this one. It's a mash up between Rey from Star Wars and Rapunzel from tangled. I'm so happy it went over so well at the con! And here's a shot of my hair. I did Rey's hairstyle but added all the flowers in it like rapunzels braid. Day two was date night Harley Quinn. I cheated a bit and got the dress from Hot Topic because I was not going to make a sequined dress. I did the heart and rotten tattoo on my face with black eye liner too. And I actually dyed my hair at home and my hair is going to be Harley Quinn's hair for awhile. Oh well. I think it looks cool when I braid it.  Day three is something I started to call SlytherQuinn. Because if our girl Harley went to Hogwarts with out a doubt she would be Slytherin. And ...
