Best Friend Costumes

Here are some creative Best Friend costumes for halloween that you could make yourself. These are also super fun and most people will know who you are!

Be Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy from spongebob squarepants. Most people will know these characters from a mile away. Also, you might have most of the costume at home and you could finish it at Joanne Fabrics or Michaels.

Mario and Luigi are classic friendship/sibling costume. Guys and Girls can do this costume. You can either be creative and make your own costume for cheap or buy them at a halloween store. If you wanted to be girly with the Super Mario world try Princess Peach and Daisy.

If your best friend is a guy or vice versa try do a famous duo that are not lovers. The white rabbit and Alice are a perfect example. You can also do a creepy version or modern day version of the costume if you wanted to do it yourself.

Now you can't forget the classic group of girls going out on halloween with a themed look. Try doing something fun and different like be One Direction or the Spice Girls. One group costume I have loved from ComicCon was Hipster Disney Princess, it was so cool. If you're a trio go as Harry, Ron, and Hermione from Harry Potter. Maybe even Ash, Misty, and  Brock from Pokemon.

These are just some fun ideas you could try out with friends. Most of mine are kind of nerdy because I am a very nerdy girl. But halloween is all about having fun and being creative. So make the most out of this holiday and go all out. You are never to old to play dress up.

GeekyCon 2016 Highlights

Meeting Maxwell Glick and Jon Cozart after the Disney sing-a-long after being on stage with them during a Tangled song and being in the front row dancing with them, two very sweet gentleman and I'm so happy I got to meet them and getting some youtube advise from Mr. Cheezypop himself! At the Charity ball I got to meet Ty Simpkins who is from Jurassic World and the Insidious films. He was also very sweet and nice of him to come out of the V.I.P area to interact with his fans and take photos for free and have nice conversations with everyone. That same night after the dance was the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child midnight release party! Potter Puppet Pals did a show, there was real life wizard chess, quid ditch matches, costume contests, being sorted by the sorting hat, and much more to do. Original Character Pokemon Trainer Cosplay

I made my own Pokeballs and brought my starter pokemon with me to Megacon.  I did a black and white base for the outfit with pops of mint green. I wore my hair in two buns and also wore a bow necklace. A lot of girl pokemon trainers wore skirts or shorts so I went with this cute black and white skirt. To finish the look off I wore my white keys. I met this girl at mega who made the cutest pokemon cosplay I've seen so far in my life. As you can see in my cosplay I also had my pokemon badges in my vest, just like Ash. They are the indigo league badges. I have all 8 and not photographed I also had the Master Ball. If you would like a video of my outfit and how I made the poke balls let me know.

2013

My goodness how time flew by so fast. To think this time last year I was working in Irvine, California meeting all the amazing new friends that I made. I saw some awesome movies and did some amazing things. I can't believe I got to see One Direction Live at the Staple Center! I met iJustine and the cast of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries at Leaky Con 2013. I went to Portland for the first to go to Leaky Con and it was an amazing experience. I also enjoyed Disneyland and California Adventure as well as Universal Hollywood. I've figured out who my real friends are upon moving back to Florida. I've made some new friends and have become even closer with my brother (which I didn't think could be possible considering how close we were before). I feel like this year I really got a grasp on who I am and not letting people walk all over me. I'm standing up for myself and dealing with problems in an up front way. Next year, I need to get back to how I was eating in Californ...
