MegaCon 2014 - Friday

I went to MegaCon on Friday and I wanted to share my outfit with you! If you don't know what MegaCon is heres just the easiest way to put it: It's a convention in Orlando that is anything and everything nerdy. So basically all randoms of anything are welcome to go. Cosplay is big here but sadly I didn't make anything so this is what I put together.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan and my Hogwarts house is Slytherin! Can I get a hell yes from all my fellow Slytherins reading this post!? Anyways this is a full photo of my outfit. I was going for kind of a modern day Hogwarts student. What would a Slytherin student wear to class or to the great hall in 2014? So this is what I came up with! I am hearing a Slytherin shirt with a black and white skirt. Slytherin knee high socks and black heel sneakers. With a Slytherin bag (That had my wand in it).

Since I was going to be walking around all day I wanted my hair kind of out of my face. So, I decided to do a half up, half down hair style. Since I love hair bows I thought a Slytherin hair bow went well. It also kind of adds to the slightly preppy school girl look. Can I also add that my hair looks super blonde in this picture. CRAZY!

Here just a closer shot go my shirt. Which I believe I got at Hot Topic. I was hoping MegaCon would of had some Harry Potter stuff but they didn't. I know sad day, right? I will have to wait until LeakyCon to buy all my Slytherin gear. I'm going all five days in case anyone is going look for me. Here are some pictures I took during MegaCon 2014.

That same night after the dance was the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child midnight release party! Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Words To Eat By: Letrentehuit Brassiare

When we went to the Eiffel Tower we found a traditional french style restaurant called Letrentehuit Brassiare. I can't tell you exactly what street it was on but it was very close to the Eiffel Tower. The service was a little weird and my mom and I couldn't help but laugh at how it was run. But it was a great dining experience. My entree was a traditional cheese crepe with a side salad. It was a french cheese where I'm not sure what kind of crepe they used. It was brown, as you can see in the photo, and it had a more savory taste it. I really wanted a crepe to eat in France and a savory one was a great choice. I also had a glass of french rose wine and of course the bread was a baguette.  Dessert was the best part. Which isn't a surprise being in Paris. I thought it would be best to get a small dessert sampler. Top left was a pistachio mousse., top right was a chocolate mousse, bottom right was a toffee mousse, and the bottom left is clearly a creme bru...
