Festive Room Decorations

I wanted to give my room a little touch of Christmas. But I didm't want anything too over the top or something that brought to much attention away from the room. I also didn't want to spend too much money and the decorations so I went to the Dollar Tree and got all of this stuff for eight dollars!

SO here as you can see I got a mason jar candle from Bath and Body works called Tis' The Season which literally smells like Christmas! It's so amazing. I got the candle on sale a few weeks back where they had buy one mason jar candle get a second one for 50% or something like that. I also decided to get a Holiday Handbook magazine which has some amazing Holiday recipes that I might try making. That was six dollars at Publix.

Now let's get to the actual Decorations I got at the Dollar Tree! In the first picture you see a cute little Snowman Mug that I filled with some christmas chocolates for friends, family, but mostly myself to snack on. (It's the Holiday season so it's okay to pig out all month, right?) I just thought this gave a nice festive look to my bed side table.
I got this really pretty silver bell from Dollar Tree and it was hard for my to figure out where to put it. I didn't want all my decoration to be in one spot so I decided to place it on my desk.  When ever I say silver bells it makes me sing "Silver Bells, Silver Bells. It's christmas time in the city" Is that weird?

How cute is this Candy Cane garland? I thought it went really nice with my room since I have a lot of white furniture in it. I thought it looked really nice over my book case and it just makes me feel all Christmasy inside!

It's not christmas with out these flowers out in your house! Poinsettia is always the Christmas flower used to decorate. Even though these ones are fake they still bring me that Christmas cheer that I love so much. Besides, I do have candle that smells like Christmas.
How could I resist getting this adorable Snowman snow globe. I put this on my little chest of drawers that I have next to my closest. It is super cute and also means almost every piece of furniture. It is just so cute.

I also got more of the adorable Candy Cane garland and put it around my bed frame. It is super cute and I've never seen garland like it before. To think I found it at the Dollar Tree is crazy! I hope this inspires you to decorate your room in a festive way. I didn't want to be too crazy with the decoration but you can decorate how ever you want!

Shanghai Museum & Chinese Buddhist Temple // Travel

I went to Shanghai a few months ago and I wanted to create some posts about the experience. The first day we were day we had a guided tour into Shanghai. Our first spot (the photo above) was the Shanghai Museum. This was a very busy museum and inside was so beautiful and they had so many different rooms full of history. It was really amazing and our tour guide was full of lots of information. I did this tour because I really didn't know anything about Shanghai besides the new Disney Park was there. I really love learning about the difference in culture and understanding their history of their city. The next stop he took us to was a Buddhist temple. Oh my goodness it was beautiful and amazing to see all the people coming into pray to the different gods. I also think it was amazing to see different tour groups from all over the world coming into here and being peaceful and respectful of the religion. I really got a full understand of Buddhism and I have to say it is an am

Shanghai Disney

One of the really unique things they have at Shanghai Disney is the Alice in Wonderland maze. The big attraction is the big queen of hearts head in her part of the garden. It's a really simple and fun attraction to do in the park. It is located behind the castle in their Fantasy Land. Obviously, the big talk of Shanghai Disney is their Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Let me tell you I could just ride it all day long. It is honestly mind blowing and I have never experienced a ride like it before. I was lucky enough to ride it twice in the same day as well as the Tron Lightcycle Coaster. However I do prefer the pirates ride over the tron. ride.  The castle is so huge and beautiful and I had to put a picture of me in front of it. Now below is the video of my day there minus the Royal Banquet Hall which I will do a separate post on. I just would like to warn some travelers about some of the things I noticed there. Shanghai Disney people do not really under stand line
