GeekyCon 2016 Highlights

Meeting Maxwell Glick and Jon Cozart after the Disney sing-a-long after being on stage with them during a Tangled song and being in the front row dancing with them, two very sweet gentleman and I'm so happy I got to meet them and getting some youtube advise from Mr. Cheezypop himself!

At the Charity ball I got to meet Ty Simpkins who is from Jurassic World and the Insidious films. He was also very sweet and nice of him to come out of the V.I.P area to interact with his fans and take photos for free and have nice conversations with everyone.

That same night after the dance was the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child midnight release party! Potter Puppet Pals did a show, there was real life wizard chess, quid ditch matches, costume contests, being sorted by the sorting hat, and much more to do. It was so much fun and of course getting the book was icing on the cake.

Then I got to meet Pemberly Digital! Frankenstein M.D., The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, and my personal favorite out of the three Emma Approved! They were also so sweet and I have met some of them a couple or more times but it is still so exciting to meet them every time. I am a huge fan of all of them!

The last highlight was meeting the cast of Spies Are Forever: It's a Musical. If you haven't seen this musical you can watch over on youtube on the Tin Can Brothers channel. It is really funny and its also an original musical! I also fulfilled two of my Geekycon bucket list items by getting a picture with Curt Mega and Tessa Netting! What's more exciting is that it's the same picture!

Geekycon is so much fun and it celebrates all fandoms and fans coming together and making friends and sharing the love of books, movies, tv shows, musicals, and pretty much anything else you can think of. It's not a big comic con convention but I love going every year and being with my people.

Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Spring Break Beach Party

Hey everyone! It's spring break for most of you or it will be soon! If you are not going on vacation don't worry, throw your own beach party in your house!! Here is some inspiration I found on a lovely little site called Pinterest (incase you haven't heard of it). You can go to party city or even the dollar store to buy beach themed decorations for your house. Thing like beach balls, buckets, fake palm trees, pool toys, etc. Be creative! It's your party and your spring break, make your stay-cation as fun as you want it to be! Also, try and fine some beach music to play or just buy a beach boys cd! When you lay out the food be creative. You can use any beach toys and put food in or around it. Get fun and decorative plates and cups. The beach is always great for mix-matching so don't be afraid to do that with your plates and food layout. Try and find some beach themed foods, like fruits, veggies, sandwiches, anything you would pack with you or buy at t...

Florida Winter Looks

If you live in a place that doesn't really get freezing cold, like Florida, here are some cute outfit ideas. Also, I'm more into the brightly colored winter clothes so here are some options. If you are not big on the bright colors this sweater is a great way to jazz up your look. Glitter, Sparkles,  and Sequins are always a great way to show that you're fun. This is also not a very thick sweater so it's great for Florida or California since it doesn't get very cold. The sweater is also very festive for Christmas and New Years Eve. If it isn't very cold like it is now in Florida go with a thing bright colored sweater and your favorite shorts. You can pair this with a bright hand bag and your favorite flip flops. You can also wear sneakers if you'd prefer. Now if it is a little too chilly for shorts wear bright colored jeans or leg gins to keep your legs warm. This is the perfect Florida winter outfit. Now this is actually my favorite one out ...
