Room Tour

I really love how my room turned out and I wanted to of a little in-depth  blog post about how I did the decor and furniture and what-not. It is a girly room and the color scheme is black, white, and pink. Which I've always been a fan of black and white rooms with a featured color in the mix. So here are some pictures of my room.  I won't list where I of everything but I will list some items.

This is just a little chair for when I read or watch some tv. It's great because it actually turns into a single bed. It is perfect for sleep overs because my friend can sit on the chair and then we can turn into a bed so they can sleep on it.  Fun pillows are the best pillows so I have love, lips, and a pillow pet. As well as my Pikachu and mini tinker bell pillow. I really love my lamp with the different shades of pink and my picture frame has pictures from my many years of baton twirling.

Marie Pillow Pet: Disneyland
Lip Pillow: Ikea
Pikachu: Dave & Busters prize
Tinkerbell Pillow: Disney World
Lamp: Target

I love this pink dresser thing. It really stands out in my room. My mom actually made my lamp which I love and if you didn't see all my little things like my Minnie Mouse ears and my valentines balloon and Sleeping Beauty figures set. My DVDs are showcased here and these fit in perfectly. The black bins have different items of clothing. Like one has my sweaters the other has t-shirts and one has shorts.

Pink Dresser: Ikea
Black Bins: Ikea

Now you've seen this side a few times with my pin board with the Polaroid pictures. This is also where I put all my perfumes and body sprays as well as my shoes and sunglasses. The pink bins have shoes and the little black bin has sunglasses.

I have all sorts of things on this book case, which is actually the same as my pink "dresser" but standing up vertically. I am showcasing my purses and heels on this one. I also have my books and Harry Potter DVDs as well as my important folders and notebooks. The top is decorated with just some things I like. Along the side there are some wands and programs from concerts.

I love my bed so much. The mattress is actually from Ikea and it is so nice on my back. My bedspread, I feel, really pulls my room together. My Audrey picture I have had for quite awhile and I've always really liked it. My teddy bears I have had since I was a little baby and I feel so weird if I don't have them in my room.

My bedside table is just somethings I like to keep by the bed (duh!). I have the current book I'm reading. If you are wondering it is called True by Hilary Duff and it is her last book in her Elixir trilogy. I like to keep some magazines by the bed in case I have some friends over or just don't feel like getting into the book. I like to have a candle by my bed  and also some lotion. I keep my change jar there just because I didn't really know where to put it. My pink owl helps me hide my nose spray and eye drops which I need to keep by my bed. I have really bad allergies in case you were wondering why I had them.

Table: Ikea
Owl: Cotton On
Change Jar: Khol's

Last and my favorite is my desk. If didn't notice it matches my bedside table. I have my lap top (which has Arrow on it, I love that show) I keep headphones and my iPad on the table and a bedazzled pink mouse. I have a pink agenda to keep all my shizz in check so I don't make plans when I'm working. And a notepad so I can make a to-do list or shopping list and have it near me.

I hope this might inspire you if you are trying to decorate your room. I really like the more modern take but still have some elegant pieces. My room is just a decorated version of me and that's why I like it. I might make a room tour video too if you wanted to see everything more up close and better explained.

xoxo,
Jessy

Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Words To Eat By: Letrentehuit Brassiare

When we went to the Eiffel Tower we found a traditional french style restaurant called Letrentehuit Brassiare. I can't tell you exactly what street it was on but it was very close to the Eiffel Tower. The service was a little weird and my mom and I couldn't help but laugh at how it was run. But it was a great dining experience. My entree was a traditional cheese crepe with a side salad. It was a french cheese where I'm not sure what kind of crepe they used. It was brown, as you can see in the photo, and it had a more savory taste it. I really wanted a crepe to eat in France and a savory one was a great choice. I also had a glass of french rose wine and of course the bread was a baguette.  Dessert was the best part. Which isn't a surprise being in Paris. I thought it would be best to get a small dessert sampler. Top left was a pistachio mousse., top right was a chocolate mousse, bottom right was a toffee mousse, and the bottom left is clearly a creme bru...
