Geekycon 2016 cosplays

This past week I went to Geekycon 2016 which is one of my favorite conventions to go to and enjoy being a fangirl with other fangirls. Here were my cosplays all three days:

REYpunzel is what I called this one. It's a mash up between Rey from Star Wars and Rapunzel from tangled. I'm so happy it went over so well at the con!

And here's a shot of my hair. I did Rey's hairstyle but added all the flowers in it like rapunzels braid.

Day two was date night Harley Quinn. I cheated a bit and got the dress from Hot Topic because I was not going to make a sequined dress. I did the heart and rotten tattoo on my face with black eye liner too.

And I actually dyed my hair at home and my hair is going to be Harley Quinn's hair for awhile. Oh well. I think it looks cool when I braid it.

Day three is something I started to call SlytherQuinn. Because if our girl Harley went to Hogwarts with out a doubt she would be Slytherin. And made the uniform a little more her by adding a white short sleeve button up, I had it unbuttoned with a black sequend bandu top, High waisted shorts, black sneaker heels, knee high school socks, and of course she still keeps the tie on. The Daddy's lil monster purse is from Hot Topic.

I also wore my slytherin robe this outfit!
I think next time if I ever do this cosplay again she will be a slytherin prefect. Because she would love the irony of it.

I loved the con and if anyone got any photos of my cosplays please email me them at jessyjen93@yahoo.com

Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Words To Eat By: Letrentehuit Brassiare

When we went to the Eiffel Tower we found a traditional french style restaurant called Letrentehuit Brassiare. I can't tell you exactly what street it was on but it was very close to the Eiffel Tower. The service was a little weird and my mom and I couldn't help but laugh at how it was run. But it was a great dining experience. My entree was a traditional cheese crepe with a side salad. It was a french cheese where I'm not sure what kind of crepe they used. It was brown, as you can see in the photo, and it had a more savory taste it. I really wanted a crepe to eat in France and a savory one was a great choice. I also had a glass of french rose wine and of course the bread was a baguette.  Dessert was the best part. Which isn't a surprise being in Paris. I thought it would be best to get a small dessert sampler. Top left was a pistachio mousse., top right was a chocolate mousse, bottom right was a toffee mousse, and the bottom left is clearly a creme bru...
