Travel Annoucement!!! April 2017

I am going to China and Japan!!!

If you remember here on this blog two years ago I wrote all about my adventures in Europe. On April 27th my trip to China and Japan starts! I'm not sure if I will be able to post while I am there like I did for some of my Europe posts. I will try my best to post as often as I can with photos on the activities, sites, and of course the most important part is the posts on food! Make sure you subscribe to my youtube channel (TheJessyJen) for videos of everything I do on my vacation.

The first stop on my trip will be Shanghai, China!! I will be there for just three days for a layover until the flight to Japan but I am really excited to see what it has to offer. I will also be spending one of those days at Shanghai Disney!! Don't worry there will be so many videos and post about my day there and I'm sure I will find ways to post them on my Instagram while I'm on the trip.

Then I will be in Japan for 10 days and going to a few different areas around Tokyo. We will be landing in Tokyo first for two days and we will get to explore the city. Next stop will be Kyoto to see the more ancient gardens and shrines Japan has to offer as well as the bamboo forest. We will be heading south after that to Osaka and we will have a day to explore the museums (Ramen Museum) and a day at Universal Japan. The last leg of the trip will be three nights at Tokyo Disney!! We will be doing Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea.

I love to travel and I am so excited to share this amazing experience with you!

That same night after the dance was the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child midnight release party! Potter Puppet Pals did a show, there was real life wizard chess, quid ditch matches, costume contests, being sorted by the sorting hat, and much more to do. Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Words To Eat By: Letrentehuit Brassiare

When we went to the Eiffel Tower we found a traditional french style restaurant called Letrentehuit Brassiare. I can't tell you exactly what street it was on but it was very close to the Eiffel Tower. The service was a little weird and my mom and I couldn't help but laugh at how it was run. But it was a great dining experience. My entree was a traditional cheese crepe with a side salad. It was a french cheese where I'm not sure what kind of crepe they used. It was brown, as you can see in the photo, and it had a more savory taste it. I really wanted a crepe to eat in France and a savory one was a great choice. I also had a glass of french rose wine and of course the bread was a baguette.  Dessert was the best part. Which isn't a surprise being in Paris. I thought it would be best to get a small dessert sampler. Top left was a pistachio mousse., top right was a chocolate mousse, bottom right was a toffee mousse, and the bottom left is clearly a creme bru...
