Spring Cleaning (For Your Body)

Everyone does spring cleaning for their house but what we really need is to clean out our bodies! I am going to detox my body and spring clean with healthy eating habits. Everyone needs to take care of their bodies inside and out. Here are some things you can do.

1. Buy groceries on Sunday and prep meals and smoothie mixes on Sunday night. If you prep all of your healthy choice for the week it is easier to actually do it.

2. Go to the gym or just go out for the day with friends and be active. I work in a theme park so I will start walking around the parks after work for my work out. Try to work out with a friend it's easier than working out alone.

3. Sleep! Don't forget to get all that beauty sleep. It doesn't just make you look pretty but it's good for your health.

4. Cut out fast food and soda. As easy as it is to just go to a fast food chain and eat it is very unhealthy. That goes back to number 1 where you prep your food at the beginning of the week so you don't have to go get fast food.

5. Pack a healthy lunch for work or school. It saves you money and it's better than eating cafeteria food. I like to pack hummus or salads to bring to work.

6. DRINK WATER! You need it to survive but most people don't drink enough in a day. You should drink about 8  cups of water every day. I like to add fruit in a bottle of water and let it sit over night. I like to make some that are detox waters so it also boosts my metabolism and also taste really yummy.

These are pretty basic tips but how many of us actually get enough sleep and eat the right amount of fruits and veggies in a day? I'm going to try all of these out and I hope you try these too! I've been packing my lunch for work lately and it's been great. I had a delicious strawberry and spinach salad for lunch. I'll try and post some more healthy life style tips and recipes soon! Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Words To Eat By: Letrentehuit Brassiare

When we went to the Eiffel Tower we found a traditional french style restaurant called Letrentehuit Brassiare. I can't tell you exactly what street it was on but it was very close to the Eiffel Tower. The service was a little weird and my mom and I couldn't help but laugh at how it was run. But it was a great dining experience. My entree was a traditional cheese crepe with a side salad. It was a french cheese where I'm not sure what kind of crepe they used. It was brown, as you can see in the photo, and it had a more savory taste it. I really wanted a crepe to eat in France and a savory one was a great choice. I also had a glass of french rose wine and of course the bread was a baguette.  Dessert was the best part. Which isn't a surprise being in Paris. I thought it would be best to get a small dessert sampler. Top left was a pistachio mousse., top right was a chocolate mousse, bottom right was a toffee mousse, and the bottom left is clearly a creme bru...
