Europe 1: A day in London

Hello Everyone, I am on a Europe trip with my mom and decided to blog and do youtube posts about my days including: Food, Outfits, Shopping, and just sight seeing. Today was the first official day in England and we decided to take the train to London.

I would tell you all the stop and everything about the train, bus and underground. But I honestly have no idea what the name of any of the stops were. But this Day Travelcard is such a great deal. For the two is it was about 24 pounds total. It works for the trains, buses, and underground all day which was a life saver. We did use all three ways of transport. If you do have the option between bus and underground and you have the time take the bus. It's so cool to sight see on the bus and we found a stop that we didn't plan which I will talk about later.

We did have a rough start but we eventually got on a bus and got off and walked across the Tower Bridge. Which had a lot of detail and so beautiful.  You can see the Tower Bridge behind me in the photo above. I've been to London a few times but I don't think I have ever done Tower Bridge. Unless, I was like a baby or something. You never know?

After crossing the bridge we got to the Tower of London. Which is photographed above. It is so beautiful and cool to see a building so old still there. What I found the most interesting about the Tower of London is the fact that there are so many modern buildings surrounding this historical building. If you take the time to just stop and look and just take in how much the world has change by looking at the building it is a very nice experience.

Now we didn't want to go inside the Tower of London because we did that when I was around 8 years old and I still remember doing it. But I had to get a picture with a Beefeater guard before we left. He was very friendly and sweet to take the photo since he was the guard for the exit.

When we were on the bus we realized on the screen the next stop said The Globe Theatre. When I freaked out and looked at my mom and we hit the stop button on the bus. I have always wanted to go to The Globe being a theatre geek and this is such a theatre geeks dream to go stand in the Globe.

We got to do a guided tour and we got to go inside and sit and hear all the history about theatre. I did know a lot of this information already but I was just excited to be sitting in there and learning and seeing everything. Now, I know its just a replica of the original theathre but they did build it the way it would of been built back then. Which is amazing and beautiful. The photo above is the stage made out of oak tree with no modern tools.

I had such a fun day out with my mom. We also went to Covent Garden for lunch (which I will be doing a words to eat by post about) and Oxford street for some shopping. I went to TopShop where I bought a dress and Lush where I bought three bath bombs you can only get there.

More posts to come. Whenever I can find wifi and get on I will try to post!

Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Words To Eat By: Letrentehuit Brassiare

When we went to the Eiffel Tower we found a traditional french style restaurant called Letrentehuit Brassiare. I can't tell you exactly what street it was on but it was very close to the Eiffel Tower. The service was a little weird and my mom and I couldn't help but laugh at how it was run. But it was a great dining experience. My entree was a traditional cheese crepe with a side salad. It was a french cheese where I'm not sure what kind of crepe they used. It was brown, as you can see in the photo, and it had a more savory taste it. I really wanted a crepe to eat in France and a savory one was a great choice. I also had a glass of french rose wine and of course the bread was a baguette.  Dessert was the best part. Which isn't a surprise being in Paris. I thought it would be best to get a small dessert sampler. Top left was a pistachio mousse., top right was a chocolate mousse, bottom right was a toffee mousse, and the bottom left is clearly a creme bru...
