Review: Spider-Man Homecoming // Geek Up Your Life

I just saw the new Spider-Man Homecoming movie and I want to more reflect than review the movie because I will start out by saying I LOVED IT! I think it's the best Spider-Man thus far. It captured the humor and teenage side of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. There is going to be SPOILERS in this reflection/review so if you haven't seen the movie please DO NOT READ.

The opening is score is great since it is the original Spider-Man theme song but with an Orchestra. The opening video diary of Peter Parker going to the airport battle in Berlin during the Civil War movie was such an amazing way to start the excitement he was for being a super hero. What else is amazing is they do not start with his origin story and it jumps straight into the present day story. Since by now everyone knows what has happened to him. They do add a moment in the movie where he is telling his best friend he got bit by a spider and that is how he got his powers. In case there is someone out there who wasn't sure how he got his powers.

The villains in this movie is Vulture and Shocker but if you wait for that after credit scene they do have Scorpion in there too. It seems like they might do a Sinister Six maybe in the future Spider-Man movies or when Sony Pictures does their Spider-Man Villain movie series they are trying to start. The villains are pretty good for this movie since Spider-Man hasn't reached his full potential which they show when they hack into his suit and see it's on a training setting. You get a glimpse of what his suit can offer when the take that setting off and it seems like in his next movie (or Infinity Wars) where he will have his suit in control and he will be able to use it up to his full potential.

I really love that they captured Spider-Mans witty humor and sarcasm in this movie. They had it a little bit in the Andrew Garfield movies but they still tried making those movies too serious. They also captured the funny side of being a nerd in high school. With an amazing twist at during the actual homecoming part that made the whole audience gasp.

I just wanted to say how much I loved this movie being a big Spider-Man fan it put a huge smile on facing leaving. I'm so excited to see more of him in the future Marvel movies and his own movies. They finally made a good Spider-Man movie!!!! Thwip Thwip Bish!

Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Words To Eat By: Letrentehuit Brassiare

When we went to the Eiffel Tower we found a traditional french style restaurant called Letrentehuit Brassiare. I can't tell you exactly what street it was on but it was very close to the Eiffel Tower. The service was a little weird and my mom and I couldn't help but laugh at how it was run. But it was a great dining experience. My entree was a traditional cheese crepe with a side salad. It was a french cheese where I'm not sure what kind of crepe they used. It was brown, as you can see in the photo, and it had a more savory taste it. I really wanted a crepe to eat in France and a savory one was a great choice. I also had a glass of french rose wine and of course the bread was a baguette.  Dessert was the best part. Which isn't a surprise being in Paris. I thought it would be best to get a small dessert sampler. Top left was a pistachio mousse., top right was a chocolate mousse, bottom right was a toffee mousse, and the bottom left is clearly a creme bru...
