Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade \\ Floridians Guide to Orlando

The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter is normally what brings everyone to Universal Studios Orlando. But did you realize it is divided into both parks? Some tourist know this but a lot of them do not and I would like to do a little information on the Hogsmeade side in Islands of Adventure.

WWOHP's original side is Hogsmeade, which means the first side that opened up a few years ago. This side is the one with Hogwarts castle and has more rides on this side as well. Let's go over the top things to do and the best ways to them.

  1. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is the big attraction which is located inside the castle. The best time to ride it is either first thing in the morning or towards park closing hours. If you were not interested in riding the attraction but wanted to see everything inside the castle you can ask a Hogwarts student for a castle tour. The castle tour gives you an alternative line so you can experience all the fun of the queue line with out actually waiting in the line itself.
  2. BUTTERBEER is a sweet non-alcoholic beverage that taste like shortbread and butterscotch you can get it cold or frozen and seasonally you can get it hot. There are two butterbeer carts outside in Hogsmeade and you can purchase it in the Three Broomsticks or the Hogs Head Pub as well.
  3. The only dinning option is The Tree Broomsticks which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week. The busiest hours are 11:30am until about 3:00pm. The dinner menu is the same as the lunch menu and it's not as busy at dinner time.
  4. If the merchandise stores are too busy in Hogsmeade they do sell a lot of the same merchandise at the gift shop in the front of the park. You can always check there during the day to see if they have your wand, tshirt, or house robes there if you don't want to wait in those long lines. Also with the stores it is the same as dinning where it will be less busy at night. You can always buy them at the end of the day there and not wait as long.
  5. If you are a Harry  Potter fan interact with the team members there. They go through special Harry Potter training and love to do fun conversations with guest who are into Harry Potter. Represent your Hogwarts house when you go into the park because you will get a lot of compliments on your house (especially for the best house SLYTHERIN).

These are just some of the basic tips for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade let me know if you would like more information on any of these tips and I would be happy to do a post on any of them. Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted ...

Words To Eat By: Letrentehuit Brassiare

When we went to the Eiffel Tower we found a traditional french style restaurant called Letrentehuit Brassiare. I can't tell you exactly what street it was on but it was very close to the Eiffel Tower. The service was a little weird and my mom and I couldn't help but laugh at how it was run. But it was a great dining experience. My entree was a traditional cheese crepe with a side salad. It was a french cheese where I'm not sure what kind of crepe they used. It was brown, as you can see in the photo, and it had a more savory taste it. I really wanted a crepe to eat in France and a savory one was a great choice. I also had a glass of french rose wine and of course the bread was a baguette.  Dessert was the best part. Which isn't a surprise being in Paris. I thought it would be best to get a small dessert sampler. Top left was a pistachio mousse., top right was a chocolate mousse, bottom right was a toffee mousse, and the bottom left is clearly a creme bru...
