Decorating my bedroom for Christmas

To make your room start feeling like the holiday day season you need to make it smell like the holiday season. My personal favorite holiday candle is from Bath and Body it's works and it's called 'Tis The Season. Buy 'Tis The Season Here My room has a pastel color scheme and I wanted to stick with that with my christmas decorations. I went to Hobby Lobby and fell in love with this Nutcracker and it was on sale for 40% off. It's a candy themed with all of my favorite colors. For some reason fawns have now become a big christmas theme decoration now. I'm not complaining I absolutely love it. I mean look how adorable this glittered fawn is I got at Hobby Lobby. I almost want her out all year round because she's so cute. The last part of my festive room so far is my tree. I am in love with my tree. I got the white tree at Old Time Pottery and the decoration are from Hobby Lobby and Michael's. I hope this inspires you if you

Tea Cup // Outfit Of The Day

I went to a tea room for lunch and this outfit inspired by English rose gardens and those pretty bone china floral tea cups. The back of the dress is open so I work a bralette that is a pastel pink and lace one. It went with the whole English tea room theme of the outfit and for the tea room we went to. The dress is white with pastel pink painted ross on it. I got it last year at Forever 21 and I don't think they sell this dress anymore. I really love the shape and color of the dress. I didn't want any shoes that took away from the dress so I paired this outfit with my nude flats I got at a boutique in California. The purse is by Betsy Johnson and I love wearing this with pastel outfits. It has a black bow and a pink fluff ball on the side. Gold chain and black straps. Its a fake leather with little black hearts. This has been one of my go to purses right now. Make sure you checked my previous blog post about the tea room I went to (The Twisted

The Twisted Teapot // Floridians Guide

I took my dad for his birthday to The Twisted Teapot in Winter Haven, Florida. It is honestly so pretty inside and outside and you have this really lovely vintage tea room feel. Here's a little photo of what it looked like in one of the room. If you head of to my Facebook page you can see more photos of the inside of the tea room. For lunch I had a puff pastry filled with creamy chicken and broccoli and a cup of potato & leak soup. My pot of tea was a chocolate chai (which i bought in the store after lunch). Sadly my meal was a daily special so it's not there everyday but it was honestly so amazon and delicious and so was the soup. I'm not a huge fan of potato & leak soap but this was the best one I have ever tried. The last part of are meal was this two tier tea deal. We have some tea sandwiches on the bottom and the top had an assortment of fresh desserts and on the side we had strawberry scones with cream. As well as another pot of te

GeekyCon 2016 Highlights

Meeting Maxwell Glick and Jon Cozart after the Disney sing-a-long after being on stage with them during a Tangled song and being in the front row dancing with them, two very sweet gentleman and I'm so happy I got to meet them and getting some youtube advise from Mr. Cheezypop himself! At the Charity ball I got to meet Ty Simpkins who is from Jurassic World and the Insidious films. He was also very sweet and nice of him to come out of the V.I.P area to interact with his fans and take photos for free and have nice conversations with everyone. That same night after the dance was the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child midnight release party! Potter Puppet Pals did a show, there was real life wizard chess, quid ditch matches, costume contests, being sorted by the sorting hat, and much more to do. It was so much fun and of course getting the book was icing on the cake. Then I got to meet Pemberly Digital! Frankenstein M.D., The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, and my p

Star Wars Outfit and Food at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Hollywood Studios has Star Wars themed fireworks during the summer starting at 9:30 pm. They are the most incredible firework show I have ever seen. I highly recommend seeing them even if you don't like Star Wars, but clearly I do! This is a photo op area across from the entrance to Star Tours. I am wearing my BB-8 Mickey Mouse Ears, which are difficult to find for how popular Force Awakens and the droid are. I had to search through many disney store to find them. I did however find them in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. They also have R2-D2 and C3PO Mickey Mouse ears if you want to go for the more classic droids. Then I am wearing my "Physically I am here, Mentally I'm in a Galaxy far, far away..." shirt I got at Forever 21. Not sure if they still sell these those. My boyfriend and I wanted to get some drinks and snacks for the fireworks since we were waiting in a good spot for about 45 minutes for them. I went to the Joffery's coffee stand

Geekycon 2016 cosplays

This past week I went to Geekycon 2016 which is one of my favorite conventions to go to and enjoy being a fangirl with other fangirls. Here were my cosplays all three days: REYpunzel is what I called this one. It's a mash up between Rey from Star Wars and Rapunzel from tangled. I'm so happy it went over so well at the con! And here's a shot of my hair. I did Rey's hairstyle but added all the flowers in it like rapunzels braid. Day two was date night Harley Quinn. I cheated a bit and got the dress from Hot Topic because I was not going to make a sequined dress. I did the heart and rotten tattoo on my face with black eye liner too. And I actually dyed my hair at home and my hair is going to be Harley Quinn's hair for awhile. Oh well. I think it looks cool when I braid it.  Day three is something I started to call SlytherQuinn. Because if our girl Harley went to Hogwarts with out a doubt she would be Slytherin. And

Blue Apron Review

One of my friends had a free delivery of Blue Apron to send for a friend to try out. I have recently become vegetarian and I thought it would be cool to try this out because they have a vegetarian option for the deliveries. However, this review has positive and negatives about Blue Apron. I will say now it is very expensive to keep doing every week it comes to about $60 a week for three meals for two people. Which I guess isn't too bad but it does add up. And i found I didn't always like all three options they were offering. You can skip weeks but I ended up canceling because I just didn't want to spend the money and only a few times I like all three menu items. I think it is a really great idea if you are home at night a lot to cook and eat but I am either at work, out with my family, or staying at my boyfriends house. So for me this weekly box plan was just not right for me. But let's go into more detail on the box I got delivered.  Here is everything they se

Halloween Horror Nights 26 update! ICON REVEALED!

(The video is a bit scary for the younger readers) The video link is from universal studios orlando youtube channel. I am beyond happy and thrilled for another female  icon. It has been too long since we had one. But actually a good one. If you don't know who Chance is she's Jack the Clowns assistant kind of. If you saw the Jack show at last years HHN25 you will know how crazy she is. (Warning this video has swearing, blood, violence and some sexual content) Here's a video I found on youtube of last years show so you can get a feel for what Chance is all about and see into her twisted mind. They are saying well Jacks away it's Chance's time to play. Not only is she getting a House themed on her but rumor is she will also be getting her own scare zone as well. I am hoping they give her a show too similar to the one above. They also have announced some of the houses this year. There will be Walking Dead (Like every year), The Exorcist, and Texas

Disney's Hollywood Studios: A Galaxy Far, Far Way show review

The worst part about this show is standing right in the sun in the boiling heat. There is no shade the stand under and there is also no where to sit. Which at first I was thinking it will be worth it because it should be a really cool Star Wars show. But don't be fooled that just because its Disney and Star Wars that it is going to be amazing. .......Because it wasn't amazing at all. Now the show at the main screen in the middle that they use for backgrounds when the characters came out and then two screens on the side which showed clips from all the movies. Now it mostly clips from the movies and voice overs of the cool inspiring speeches said in the movies. Followed by cool action clips. Then a character will come up out for about 30 seconds and say lines from the movie and then walk off the stage for you to watch more movie clips and then another character walks out for 30 seconds, etc. etc. If there is other stuff you would like to do at Hollywood Stu

What to Order at Red Oven Pizza Bakery at City Walk // Floridians Guide To Orlando

I went to the Universal Studios Orlando with my mom the other day and we decided to have lunch at City Walk at one of their quick service locations called Red Oven Pizza Bakery. They cook fresh pizzas in a red pizza oven (hence the name) with fresh ingredients. The Universal Quick Service dinning plan, however, does not work at this location. My mom and I love white pizza and they service about 5 different white pizza's. We ordered the Pesto pizza which has: pesto (obviously), Mozzarella cheese, and ricotta cheese. It is cut into six slices and I feel like you could share this with 2-6 people depending on if you order other items and how hungry every one is. This pizza taste as good as it looks.  The seating is outside but under cover. It has a very laid back atmosphere when you sit down at the tables. When you order at the register they will hand you your drinks and table tracker. This is something you place on your table and it will connect with a computer in

What to try at Sugar Plums Diagon Alley Pt. 2 // Floridians Guide To Orlando

I know I try to eat healthy but also this series I am doing lets me splurge on trying awesome food and treats at the theme parks. I really love what Sugar Plums has to offer in Diagon Alley. If you did see my previous post about it  Click Here . If you have a sweet tooth this store has got it all. They have special Harry Potter treats like Chocolate Frogs and Every flavor beans. Then you go to their food display window and those are my personal favorite sweets to get. They delicious Chocolate Wand! This is different to the packaged one on the shelf in the store so don't get the mixed up. This one is in the window case. It is a chocolate covered pretzel. The perfect mixture of salty and sweet. It also has an edible gold chocolate tip. To resemble the wand casting a spell. My mom and I shared this but we ate it so fast that we could of gotten one each. This is something I would get again and again..........and again. For more tips, tricks, and what to gets make sure y

Healthy Tips at Fast Food Blvd. at Universal Studios // Floridians Guide To Orlando

If your family or friends want to eat at Fast Food Blvd in Springfield (Simpsons area) at Universal Studios don't panic about not being able to find healthy options. That is what Lisa's Teahous of Horror is here for. Sadly it isn't cooked food but I can tell you the food items are really yummy. They have vegetarian items like hummus, caprese salad, fruit cups and caesar salads. And healthy options like turkey wraps and  Mediterranean  salad (which has tuna in). As well as healthy drinks and desserts. You can eat healthy on vacation, especially at the theme parks. You just have to look for the right places and don't give in to temptations.  For more healthy theme park tips make sure you follow my blog (which is what you are on right now!). What to try at Sugar Plums in Diagon Alley // Floridians Guide To Orlando

Sugar Plums in the newest store added to Diagon Alley at Universal OrlandoResort. They have chocolate frogs, every flavor beans, cauldron cakes, and all you wizarding sweets you would need. Here are two of the sweets that I tried today. Yes all wizards and witches it is true. Butterbeer fudge has finally happened. As you can tell the top of the fudge is a white color resembling the topping and the bottom is the same color of the Frozen Butterbeer. For me it was very sweet but my boyfriend loved it.  This right here is the non-melting peanut butter ice cream with chocolate chips. This was so good! Again very sweet but not as sweet as the fudge. They do a vanilla and chocolate one as well. I just thought they were a cute idea and it tasted amazing.
